Root CA Installation Instructions in MacOS X

Please read or print the installation instructions of the HARICA Root digital certificate. Then follow these instructions step by step

1. Follow this link to download the certificate (RootCA) at the default download location that you have chosen from Safari.

 


2. Double click the certificate. The Keychain Application will launch and it will ask you to trust the Hellenic Academic and Research Institutions RootCA 2006. Choose "Always Trust"..


3. If you wish to check the validity of the certificate double click and select trust. Search for the Fingerprints SHA1 and MD5 so they look like the picture below:
